I love to eat and I am sure you do too. Cork city has tons of great places and I try to go out to eat at least twice per week as it gets me out of the office. I vary it between picking up something quick or going into the city to combine meeting up with someone for a coffee and a chat as well.

English Market

The English Market is an amazing indoor food market in the centre of Cork and I go there regularly.  Its a must visit if you do come to Cork city at any time and is part of our busy tourist trail. My friend’s aunt has a great coffee shop there and I pick up a sandwich and meet up with him and have a chat.  The amount of great places to buy food is off the charts.  Fish, great meats and fresh vegetables.  The only issue is spending too much money in there but it is worth it.

La Calevera

I am not normally a burriot fan but La Calevera has changed all of that.  Just a short drive or a longer walk from the office they do amazing burritos with great toppings.  I think it is owned by a Peruvian guy and the food is delicious.  You can sit down there or take it away.  I tend do do both, it depends on my mood.
